Capella is a lovingly restored Victorian town house situated just two minutes walk from the centre of Okehampton.

Awarded 4 stars by English Tourist Council in 2007, each room has been decorated to a high standard, retaining original features such as fireplaces and exposed beams.

Okehampton is known as the walking capital of Dartmoor and offers 4 banks, 3 supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, a cinema and new sports centre as well as a golf course and skateboard run in the beautiful Symmons Park. Walking and cycling on Dartmoor is a joy with spectacular views, rugged terrain and enchanting rivers. In the spring, the hills are covered in bluebells.

There is a wide variety of shops including antiques, walking and climbing supplies, designer fashions and gift shops all within an accessible town centre. A Victorian Arcade hosts a variety of small shops and a little further out, a specialist cycle shop for those emergency repair supplies!
